My Dear Der Mad Stamper,
You must have faith in the investigator that you,
yourself, have hired. It has taken many hours to
dumpster dive into your site. Just when I have a
handle on the suspect another one is thrown in. Was it
not you, Der Mad Stamper, who told me that this was a
close-knit community? I see an immense amount of mud
slinging here, a tremendous amount of name-calling.
I do believe my fee has just doubled.
As I am depriving myself of sleep with many hours
of research you make accusations of my snoozing on
I-5! Do you have any comprehension of how complicated
your hobby is? Is there a letterbox at the Applegate
Rest Stop?
You will hear more from me as my investigation
continues. Never fear I will solve this case.
Sincerely,
Investigator Francis Bacon

Damn! That lazy investigator that I hired claims to have been off
snooping through the archives while all this relevant new evidence
was being uncovered. Now he even says he's gonna double his fee.
Meanwhile, I'm getting in more trouble all the time because of him!
I received another ransom note today. I think this crook is serious!
Here's what the note says...
"word on the street has it
that you have hired an
investigator
i am too stealthy to be
caught by such an
inexperienced newbie
such as your
investigator pork chop
play it smart or
the pz kut gets it
wait for further
instructions"
What do I do now? Should I fire my investigator? Should I contact a
psychic? Should I take another shot of tequila? Does anyone out there
know what ever happened to The A-Team?
Oooh! The neighbor lady is trying on shoes...

This appears to me to be the work of more than one individual. It could
even be as many as 12. All accused have partial alibis and all alibis
have holes. Maybe you need to start investigating any known "groups" of
individuals. Here are a couple thoughts:
The Baker's Dozen - It is a well known fact that this group has grown
into a tightly knit group. They may have been planning this heist since
2004 and have recently pulled it off in preparation of an upcoming trip
back to Dartmoor.
Event Organizers - In preparation for an event there usually is a
flurry of carving going on. This premium medium becomes a hot
commodity. Are there any planned events near Der Mad Stampers home turf?

Shouldn't YOU be telling US what happened with the rest of the A-Team, Tarnished Knight pointed out to me that it's VERY likely that you are H.M. Murdock.

Oooohhh, Lundy & Vickster, how could you attempt to sully the good
reputation of the Bakers Dozen?? After we went to all the trouble of flying
to England, stepping through all that animal poo on the moors, drinking and
schmoozing with all those locals in pubs in order to pave the way for future
travelers...this...this is the thanks we get? Even DMS isn't dim enough to

If you look at the note on Mark's blog, the Ls are uppercase. But it
would be a good way to throw people off the scent, so to speak, to use
only lower case letters.

It is my understanding that Investigator Bacon hasn't officially ruled out any suspects, and that everyone is a suspect until that time. This group, more so than most, has the intelligence and is likely to be sophisticated enough to pull off such a caper.
Besides, I've read about the job you did on the Flamingo Caper and I've experienced some of your hikes first hand. Having said that, I find it hard to believe everything the "LAZY" letterboxer says!

besides, i think uneksia is a little bit like the old lady who lived
in a shoe. too many children to pull off such a complicated heist.
it's a "known" fact, each child saps 1 million brain cells.
i'm waiting to hear from Investigator PorkChop again.
